WILLIAM SANDERSON “SANDY” STUHR
WILLIAM SANDERSON “SANDY” STUHR of Sullivan’s Island, SC died April 8, 2023 at the age of 88. He joined the family business, Stuhr Funeral Home in 1958 as a fourth-generation funeral director. Sandy served as the CEO and chairman of the board. A graduate of the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science, he was a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner, president of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association from 1978-1979 and was a former board member of Selected Independent Funeral Homes.
