WILLIAM "MIKE" SMITH

WILLIAM "MIKE" SMITH of Woodbury, TN died August 9, 2015 at the age of 72. He worked for Hunter Funeral Home in Sparta before establishing Smith Funeral Home in 1971. In 1981, the firm burned to the ground, and with help from his family and friends, he was quickly able to rebuild it. A graduate of the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association, Upper Cumberland Funeral Directors Association and the Riverside Cemetery Association.
