WILLIAM J. "BILL" SCHINDERLE

WILLIAM J. "BILL" SCHINDERLE of Algoma, WI died May 19, 2020 at the age of 90. A licensed funeral director for 62 years, he purchased the Schumacher Furniture Store and Funeral Home in Stockbridge in 1953 and the Haucke Funeral Home in Algoma in 1967. A new funeral home was built in 1971, which is where the Schinderle Funeral Home currently resides. He continued to own and operate it until his daughter, Laurie took over in 1992. Bill remained active in the business until he retired in 2016. A graduate of the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science, he was past president of the Fox River Valley Funeral Directors Association.
