WILLIAM R. “BILL” GOOD

WILLIAM R. “BILL” GOOD of Columbus, OH died February 11, 2025 at the age of 79. His father, Elden, established the Elden A. Good Funeral Home in Cincinnati in the 1960s.  His wife, Becky, a third-generation funeral director and embalmer, worked at Southwick Funeral Chapel, which was founded by her grandfather, Raymond L. Southwick in 1923. Together, they owned and operated the Southwick-Good & Fortkamp Funeral Chapel, Inc. A graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, he served as vice president of the Ph Sigma Eta National Mortuary Fraternity. Bill was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association and the Central Ohio Funeral Directors Association.
