WILLIAM "SONNY" HOWARD DOVE

WILLIAM "SONNY" HOWARD DOVE of New Bern, NC died July 6, 2020 at the age of 76. A licensed funeral director and embalmer, he completed his internship at Oscar's Mortuary, which was founded by his father, Oscar Dove in 1960. Sonny and his two sisters, Dorothy and Eileen Dove, took over the business in 2010 upon the death of their mother, Grace Dove. He was president of the firm until the time of his death. He graduated from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service.
