WILLIAM CHARLES DEELEY of Punxsutawney, PA died April 29, 2025 at the age of 75. A funeral director, he was the owner and operator of Deeley Funeral Home and brought the town into the national spotlight by serving as handler of Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog. Deeley was a member of the Clearfield-Jefferson County Funeral Directors Association for 50 years.
