WALTON FREDERICK "FRED" TALLEY

WALTON FREDERICK "FRED" TALLEY of Rome, GA died May 16, 2019 at the age of 74. A licensed funeral director, he worked alongside his brother, Marvin, in owning and operating the Talley Brothers Funeral Home for several years. After Talley Brothers sold, he opened Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel and was currently employed at the Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home at the time of his passing. He served as Floyd County coroner from 1972-1996 and was president of the Georgia Coroner's Association in the early 1980's.
