THOMAS M. SMITH

THOMAS M. SMITH of Blawnox, PA died Jan. 5, 2023 at the age of 81. A third generation funeral director in the greater Pittsburgh area, he and his wife Janet founded the Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home in Blawnox in 1966. Tom also honorably served as the Mayor of Blawnox for 40 years. Tom is survived by his wife Janet, children Thomas M. Smith, Jr. and Stacy Stilley, five grandchildren and three great grandsons. Tom was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1962 and a member of the PA and Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association.
