STANLEY HAMPTON “STAN” SCRUGGS

STANLEY HAMPTON “STAN” SCRUGGS of Monroe, NC died July 27, 2025 at the age of 88. He owned and operated Harris-Scruggs Funeral Home beginning in 1965. In 1977, he sold the business to focus on selling funeral and cemetery supplies and equipment throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. In 1994, he joined Cemetery Funeral Supply, where he managed daily operations. He was a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
