SIMON JAVIZIAN

SIMON JAVIZIAN of Baton Raton, FL died November 23, 2025 at the age of 91. A licensed California, Florida and Michigan funeral director, he purchased the funeral home on Woodward Avenue in Detroit, where he had served his apprenticeship and renamed it the Simon Javizian Funeral Home. Simon later joined forces with John E. Wilk, creating the Simon Javizian Funeral Directors, which he owned and operated for nearly 70 years. He graduated with a degree in mortuary science from Wayne State University.
