SHANE DECKER

SHANE DECKER of Morris, MN died August 9, 2024 at the age of 50. He began his career in funeral service at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Oakes, ND. In 2009, Decker began working as a regional sales representative for Deaton-Kennedy to provide various supplies to funeral homes in a tri-state region. In 2010, he moved to Morris, MN to work for Pedersen Funeral Home and Starbuck Funeral Home. Decker became the managing funeral director in 2013 and in 2019, he accepted the position of regional operations director for Vertin Company, the parent company of Pedersen and Starbuck Funeral Homes. Decker attended Mayville State University to receive his pre-mortuary education prior to graduating from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1996.
