SAMUEL LINTON TOLBERT

SAMUEL LINTON TOLBERT of Clarkesville, GA died February 5, 2020 at the age of 72. A graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, in 1977, he and his wife, Martha, founded Hillside Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Clarkesville. He later developed a perpetual care cemetery, Hillside Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home. He served as president of the Independent Funeral Directors of Georgia in 2009 and was a member of the Past Presidents Club.
