RUSSELL MUFFLEY

RUSSELL MUFFLEY of Clovis, NM died April 2, 2019 at the age of 71. He served as a licensed funeral director in Las Cruces, Artesia and Clayton, NM before moving to Clovis to become manager of Sherwood Mortuary in 1975. In 1978, he and his wife, Carolyn purchased what is now the Muffley Funeral Home, and continued to own and operate it for over 40 years. A 1968 graduate of the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science, he was appointed to the State Board of Thanatopractice, serving as chairman until 1972.
