RUBY LEE DICKEY

RUBY LEE DICKEY of Biloxi, MS died August 8, 2016 at the age of 83. She founded the Dickey Brothers-Chambers Funeral Home alongside her husband, the late Marvin M. Dickey Sr., in 1959. Upon the death of her husband, the business was renamed, the Dickey Brothers Memorial Home, where she remained president and CEO until her health began to fail. The funeral home, which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, has since been reestablished by Dickey's daughter, Pamela Dickey in 2012.
