RONALD PAUL HESS

RONALD PAUL HESS of Herkimer, NY died May 15, 2023 at the age of 82. His professional career started working as an apprentice at the George F. Scholderer Funeral Home in Binghamton. Hess briefly worked for the McGrath Funeral Home in Bronxville and was manager of the Havey-Maloney Funeral Home in Yonkers.  He and his wife, Pam purchased the Fenner Funeral Home Inc in Herkimer in 1985 and later acquired the J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home in Richfield Springs. A 1961 graduate of the Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, Hess was a member of the Tri-County Funeral Directors Association and the New York State Funeral Directors Association.
