ROBERT LEE FINCH

ROBERT LEE FINCH of Altavista, VA died April 9, 2020 at the age of 90. He spent over 65 years as a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Finch and Finch Funeral and Cremation Service, established in 1905 by his grandfather. He was a past president of the Southside Funeral Directors Association and the Virginia Funeral Directors Association, as well as a former member of the National Funeral Directors Association Policy Board. He was voted Virginia Funeral Director of the Year in 1991, and recognized by the VFDA with the Golden Licensee Award in both 2002 and 2017 for 50 and 65 years of service to the profession.
