ROBERT FENTRESS CASEY

ROBERT FENTRESS CASEY of Oak Ridge, TN died March 21, 2013 at the age of 87. He and his family lived in Evans and Lassiter Funeral Home in Alamo from 1931 until 1941. The family moved to Henderson in 1941, where his father owned and operated Casey Funeral Home. He assumed ownership of the firm upon the death of his father in 1953. The funeral home was purchased by the Shackelford family in 1991. He remained active in the business for several years, and was awarded a 50 year service plaque from the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association in 1993. He graduated from the John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science in 1948.
