ROBERT D. CARPENTER

ROBERT D. CARPENTER of Huntington, WV died October 8, 2019 at the age of 87. He was a licensed funeral director and mortician at the Klingel–Carpenter Mortuary. A member of the West Virginia Board of Funeral Service Examiners, Carpenter began the National Directors Emergency Disaster Committee, now known as D-Mort in 1980 and was past president of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association.
