ROBERT W. BROULLIRE

ROBERT W. BROULLIRE of Manistique, MI died March 10, 2014 at the age of 88. He was a funeral director at Erickson Funeral Home in Iron Mountain and later the Morton Funeral Home in Manistique. In 1951, he and his classmate Donald E. Messier of Escanaba purchased the Morton home in Manistique and in 1961 established the Messier-Broullire Funeral Home in Manistique and Garden. He became the sole proprietor of the business in 1968 following the death of his partner, retiring in 1990. He served as the Schoolcraft County corner for 28 years. He graduated from the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science in 1949.
