RICHARD E VIGILO

RICHARD E. VIGILO of Cairo, NY formerly of Scarsdale, NY died January 10, 2020 at the age of 83. He was co-owner of the Richards Funeral Home of the Mid-Hudson Valley, Inc located in Cairo and Athens, and the W. C. Brady's Son Inc Funeral Home in Coxsackie. Vigilo was the former owner of the Valenti and Richards Funeral Home in Hudson, was former vice president of Ambulance Service and was the owner and operator of Richards Ambulance Service. He attended the Eckels College of Mortuary Science and the Renuad's Training School for Embalmers. He served as the chief coroner for Green County since 1998, was a member of the New York State Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners, New York State Funeral Directors Association, Capital District Funeral Directors Association and was past president of the Columbia Green Funeral Directors Association.
