RICHARD A. MARTIN

RICHARD A. MARTIN of Sigourney, IA died December 26, 2014 at the age of 88. He was the owner and operator of Martin Funeral Home in Emmetsburg, which he acquired in 1957. He acquired a second firm in Ruthven in 1977. He served as chairman of the Iowa Board of Mortuary Science Examiners, to which he was appointed by then governor Robert Ray. He graduated from the St. Louis College of Mortuary Science.
