REVEREND DONALD H. JORDAN

REVEREND DONALD H. JORDAN SR of Middletown, OH died January 2, 2017 at the age of 83. He was the founder and owner of Thompson, Hall & Jordan Funeral Homes of Cincinnati, OH; Green, Hall & Jordan Memorial Chapel of Hamilton, OH; and the Hall Jordan & Petty Memorial Chapel of Middletown, OH. He founded his first funeral home in Middletown in 1953 and grew the organization into one of the largest African American owned funeral establishments in the nation with locations in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. He also served as a pastor for over 20 years at the Quinn Chapel AME Church and Allen Temple AME Church, building three new church facilities during his tenure. He was a member of the United Funeral Directors of Greater Cincinnati, Buckeye State Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association.
