REV. HARDIN MURPHY MARTIN SR

REV. HARDIN MURPHY MARTIN SR of Steubenville, OH died May 13, 2025 at the age of 82. A retired funeral director and embalmer, he worked at Stowder’s Funeral Home and Watson’s Funeral Home before establishing the H. M. Martin Funeral Home in 1969 with his father. Together, he and his wife, Rosary, continued to own and operate the business for nearly 40 years. He remained active in the funeral home upon retirement. Martin graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
