RAYMOND D. COPELAND

RAYMOND D. COPELAND JR of Coraopolis, PA died February 15, 2013 at the age of 92. He was the owner of Copeland Corapolis, previously known as Troxell Funeral Home. He began working at Ritchey Funeral Home in Sewickley; and later worked as an apprentice at Brandt Funeral Home. He then served as an embalmer at Patterson Funeral Home in Atlanta; Scott Funeral Home in Rogersville in Greene County; and Troxell Funeral Home in Coraopolis. He devoted 67 years to the funeral industry as a funeral director. He was a member of the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1940.
