R. DAVID CARPENTER of Hurricane, WV formerly of Huntington, WV died February 13, 2023 at the age of 76. A third-generation graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, he was a funeral director with the family business, Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. Carpenter also served as regional safety director at Stewart Enterprises.
