PHILLIP C. CAULDER, JR

PHILLIP C. CAULDER, JR of Chesterfield, SC died December 22, 2025 at the age of 68. A retired funeral director, he served his mentorship at Miller-Rivers Funeral Home under the direction of Tom Martin and Don Rivers in 1971. Upon their retirement in 1988, Caulder and his wife, Yetive, purchased the funeral home, renaming it Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. They continued to own and operate it for twenty-eight years. A graduate of the Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, he was a member and chairman of the Pee Dee Funeral Directors Group of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association, where he was twice recognized by his colleagues as the Pee Dee Funeral Director of the Year.
