PETER T. MONTERA

PETER T. MONTERA of Eastchester, NY died January 1, 2024 at the age of 95. He was a New York State licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1954. In 1962, Montera became president of the Thomas C. Montera Inc in Bronx, which was established by his father, Thomas C. Montera in 1929. A 1953 graduate of the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, Montera was a member of the New York State Funeral Directors Association and the Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association.
