PAUL S. TERRY

PAUL S. TERRY JR., of Philadelphia, PA died March 7, 2012 at the age of 73. He was a former president of Terry Funeral Home. The firm was originally founded in 1938 by his parents, Paul S. Terry Sr., and Frances E. Tyson Terry in Pleasantville, NJ. He assumed the role of head funeral director in 1974, when his father became advisor of the operation. After his father's death in 1986, he became president, and operated the firm with his younger brother, Thompson Terry Sr., who preceded him in death in 1997. In 2000, he sold the family business and retired. The firm had taken on a new president, Gregory T. Burrell and he remained as a consultant until 2009.
