PAUL R. RIDDICK SR

PAUL R. RIDDICK SR of Norfolk, VA died July 15, 2026 at the age of 79. A licensed funeral director since 1970, he followed in the footsteps of his father, the late Jacob Leander Riddick, in owning and operating Riddick Funeral Service, which was founded in 1937. He helped establish a designated burial section at Forest Lawn Cemetery for the Islamic community and had supported the creation of the Second Chance Program. Riddick earned his degree in funeral service from John Tyler Community College and was a member of the Norfolk Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association and the Virginia Morticians Association.
