PAUL T. "TED" LUCAS

PAUL T. "TED" LUCAS of Upper Sandusky, OH died February 18, 2015 at the age of 83. He was a third generation funeral director and owner of Lucas Funeral Home for 58 years. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, J. T. Lucas and father, George, he continued working part-time in the business with his son, Daniel and business partner, Brad Patton. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1953. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he worked as an embalmer, serving in Europe, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria and Portugal. He was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.
