Nelson Edward Hayes

NELSON EDWARD HAYES of Matthews, NC died February 25, 2016 at the age of 75. He was a licensed North Carolina funeral director, embalmer and Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) at Davis Funeral Service in Monroe. He was a former manufacture's sales representative for North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia with Pierce Chemicals Royal Bond Company of Dallas, TX. He graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in 1970 and was a former chairman and secretary of the North American Division of the British Institute of Embalmers (BIE) and member of the American Society of Embalmer. He was elected a member of the North Carolina Board of Funeral Service for two terms and served as North Carolina Funeral Directors Association's past director for district 9.
