MONTY RENN THORNBURG of Kings Mountain, NC died August 18, 2021 at the age of 61. A licensed funeral director and embalmer, he began his funeral service career at Harris Funeral Home in 1998. Thornburg was manager of the firm since 2017. He graduated from the Fayetteville Technical College with an associate's degree in funeral service.
