MICHAEL A. HOEFLINGER

MICHAEL A. HOEFLINGER of Oregon, OH died August 20, 2012 at the age of 84. He joined his father, Ted, at Hoeflinger Funeral Home, the first funeral service in East Toledo and the surrounding suburbs that his grandfather, Michael, had established in 1877. He became the owner of the firm in 1968. He sold the firm and retired in the late 1900's, but maintained his state license as an embalmer, funeral director and was a consultant to what became the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home. He was a graduate of the Cleveland College of Mortuary Science.
