MICHAEL P. HEANEY

MICHAEL P. HEANEY of Staten Island, NY died January 17, 2026 at the age of 64. A licensed funeral director since 1981, he worked for several Staten Island funeral homes, including Scamardella Funeral Home, Richmond Funeral Home and Matthew Funeral Home. In 1983, Heaney founded Michael P. Heaney Funeral Services, Inc, where his three brothers, Danny, Ryan, and Todd, worked alongside him. He graduated from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Services.
