MAX BOYCE JACKSON of Dothan, AL died January 8, 2015 at the age of 88. He worked as an embalmer and funeral director and later served as president and partner at Ward-Wilson Funeral Home. He had been with the firm for 41 years when he sold his interest. After a brief retirement, he joined the staff of Byrd Funeral Home where he served as an active director and embalmer for 24 years, most recently as a consulting director. He graduated from the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in 1952.
