MAURICE “MOE” E. APRIL

MAURICE “MOE” E. APRIL of Port Charlotte, FL and longtime resident of Manchester, NH died August 9, 2022 at the age of 92. In 1956, Moe became a licensed funeral director in the state of New Hampshire and was employed by Anctil Funeral Home in Nashua. He and his wife, Lorraine, moved to Manchester in 1957, where he took a position with the former Letendre Funeral Service. In 1972, he joined McHugh Funeral Home, serving as a funeral director, then as general manager until his retirement in 2003. Moe graduated from the New England Institute of Anatomy and Embalming in 1956.
