MARY ELLEN MURPHY

MARY ELLEN MURPHY of Trinidad, CO died April 4, 2023 at the age of 95. She worked alongside her husband, John Murphy in owning and operating funeral homes in Yankton and Mitchell, SD and Trinidad, CO. In 1981, they purchased the Mullare Funeral Home, renaming it Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home. Murphy remained working alongside her husband until his passing in 1993 and until recently, continued to help her son, Tom when he assumed ownership of the firm.
