MARK STEPHEN STRICKLAND

MARK STEPHEN STRICKLAND of Elkview, WV died February 24, 2021 at the age of 72. He began his career in funeral service working part-time at the Hafer Funeral Home under the guidance of the late Ed and Henry Hafer. He founded and owned Strickland Funeral Home in Clendenin during the seventies and eighties. Strickland retired from Aurora Casket Company as a sales representative. A graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association.
