MARCUS “MICKEY” A. MILAM III

MARCUS “MICKEY” A. MILAM III of Gainesville, FL died June 13, 2025 at the age of 84. A funeral director and embalmer since 1968, he worked for his father-in-law, Dick Williams at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home in Gainesville until he purchased the Johnson-Hayes Funeral Home in 1990. Mickey continued to operate the Johnson-Hayes-Milam Funeral Home until 2004, when he renamed it, Milam Funeral and Cremation Service. He graduated from Miami-Dade Community College with a degree in mortuary science.
