LYLE CLINKINGBEARD

LYLE CLINKINGBEARD of Ava, MO died December 15, 2016 at the age of 87. He was a licensed funeral director, embalmer and co-owner of Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc, both in Ava and Gainesville, MO. He also worked alongside his wife, Florence for 56 years in operating the only ambulance company in Ava and Douglas County for over 25 years. A graduate of St. Louis Mortuary College, he was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Missouri Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association where he received a 60 year member certificate.
