LOIS P VILLASEÑOR

LOIS P. VILLASEÑOR of Austin, TX died July 28, 2020 at the age of 87. A funeral director for over 40 years, she was the founder and owner of Mission Funeral Home. A 1961 graduate of the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, she was the first Hispanic woman to serve on the Texas Funeral Service commission as a 1989 appointee. Villaseñor served six years before being asked to serve as the commission's interim director.
