LILLIE “LILANNE” FEGGINS-BOONE

LILLIE “LILANNE” FEGGINS-BOONE of South Hill, VA died October 10, 2026 at the age of 73. A licensed funeral director and mortician, Feggins-Boone completed her apprenticeship under the guidance of her father, the late Deacon George Washington Feggins, at Feggins Funeral Home, where she later became a partner. Following her father’s death, she became president and owner of the firm. She earned a degree in mortuary science in 1982 and served as president of both the Southside Funeral Directors Association and the Virginia Morticians Association, Inc. She was also a member of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc and sang in its choir.
