LARRY JOE ALEXANDER

LARRY JOE ALEXANDER of Jerseyville, IL died September 6, 2021 at the age of 57. A funeral director and embalmer, he started his career at Gubser Funeral Home in 1985 and became owner in 2000, naming it Alexander & Gubser Funeral Home. In 2020, the funeral home became Alexander Funeral Home. He was the longest running coroner in Jersey County, having been elected in1992. A graduate of the Worsham College of Mortuary Science, he was a member of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
