LAFAYETTE GATLING SR of Chicago, IL died December 28, 2021 at the age of 81. A South Side funeral director, he built Gatling's Chapels in 1986. In 2007, Gatling opened a second location in South Holland, which he owned and operated. He impacted the funeral home business across the country by becoming one of the first to hold drive thru viewing.
