KEITH NORDBY

KEITH NORDBY of Brooklyn Park, MN formerly of Osseo, Brooklyn Center and Camden area of North Minneapolis, MN died August 2, 2013 at the age of 87. He was the owner and operator of Evans-Nordby Funeral Homes in Osseo and Brooklyn Center for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Academy of Professional Service Practice, and the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association, serving as president from 1963 until 1964 and earned the group's Distinguished Service Award twice. He and his wife, Charlotte established the Nordby Lectureship at North Hennepin Community College, an annual event that features speakers on topics such as coping with death and dying. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Mortuary Science in 1947.
