JOSEPH H LEVINE

JOSEPH H. LEVINE of Bala Cynwyd, PA died June 28, 2015. He was a fourth generation funeral director and president of Joseph Levine & Sons Memorial Chapel Inc, one of the Philadelphia area's oldest and most prominent Jewish funeral homes. After obtaining ownership of the firm in 1984, he sought to expand it by acquiring Haym Salomon Memorial Park in Frazer in 1986. In 1996, he began operating from a branch in Broomall, DE, and in 1999, a third funeral parlor was added in Trevose. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1970.
