JOSEPH "JOE" WILLIAM EPLER

JOSEPH "JOE" WILLIAM EPLER of Northumberland, PA died April 5, 2014 at the age of 76. In 1979 he established the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, which he operated until his retirement in 2007. Following his retirement, he continued to assist new owners, Michael and Veronica Splain. From 1969-1979 he was a branch superintendent with National Casket Company in Philadelphia. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1967. He was a member of the Central Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association.
