JOHN FRANK “JACK” VODRAZKA

JOHN FRANK “JACK” VODRAZKA of Independence, OH died June 6, 2023 at the age of 80. He joined his family business, Vodrazka Funeral Home in 1967 as a licensed funeral director and embalmer, while also operating his own individual embalming service. In 1977, Jack and his brother, Lawrence purchased the Cassidy Funeral Home, renaming it Vodrazka Funeral Home of Independence. He acquired sole ownership of the firm in 1997 and continued to operate it alongside his wife, Dottie. Jack graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1966.
