JOHN L. MATT

JOHN L. MATT, SR., of New Hartford, NY died December 10, 2011 at the age of 90. He was a second generation licensed mortician for Park West Memorial Chapel in New York. In 1946, he and his wife, Grace Giacinta Massaro established Matt Funeral Home which was later incorporated in 1948 as Matt Funeral Service, Inc. He was a graduate of the Renouard School of Embalming in New York. He leaves his sons John L. Matt, Jr. of John L. Matt Funeral Home and Anthony Matt of Matt Funeral Service, Inc.
