JOHN JACOBSON

JOHN JACOBSON of Slayton, MN died December 13, 2016 at the age of 78. He worked as a licensed funeral director at Johnson Funeral Home in Newton, IA and later at Schroeder Funeral Home in Boone, IA. In 1976, he and his wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Latham purchased the Butson Funeral Homes in Tracy and Walnut Grove, MN. He continued to operate it until 2002 when he retired and sold the business. He graduated from the California College of Mortuary Science.
